Anna discovered this quote while competing in FFA leadership events during high school and has carried its message with her ever since. It reflects her appreciation for agriculture and the values of hard work, integrity, and stewardship that continue to shape both her personal and professional life.
Anna Mae Huggins is a Tax Manager at HCJ CPAs & Advisors, where she serves clients across a variety of industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, transportation, and healthcare. She especially enjoys combining her accounting expertise with her agricultural business background to help farmers and agribusinesses navigate complex tax matters and achieve their financial goals.
Anna joined HCJ as a tax intern in 2020 before becoming a full–time team member in 2022. During her time at Arkansas State University, she was recognized as the Outstanding Accounting Graduate by the Neil Griffin College of Business faculty. She is also actively involved in the accounting profession as a member of the Arkansas Society of Certified Public Accountants (ARCPA) and serves as Treasurer of the Northeast Arkansas Society of CPAs (NEASCPA).
Originally from New Windsor, Illinois, Anna grew up in the Jonesboro, Arkansas area and graduated from Brookland High School. She and her husband, Tyler, an electrical engineer for their local electric cooperative, share their home with two golden retrievers, Wrigley and Turner, named after their favorite Major League Baseball teams. Outside of work, Anna enjoys needlepointing, baking, gardening, birdwatching, shopping, and traveling. She also has a few memorable experiences to her name, including competing in rodeos across the country while growing up, visiting Giverny, France, the hometown of her favorite artist, Claude Monet, and attending Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour twice.
