He was drawn to the accounting profession because it allows him to use business intelligence to help organizations. He specializes in strategic planning and personnel development. He credits his career success to his honesty and work ethic, as well as the outstanding mentors he has had along the way.

Raised in North Little Rock, Arkansas, Mike still lives in the Little Rock area with his wife, Mary Jane, a Methodist minister, and their rescue dog, a lab-mix named Ellie. The couple have two grown children, Taylor and David. In his free time, Mike enjoys playing golf, listening to classic rock, and sampling new brews.
